The F-22 Raptor may not be doing us any good on the streets of Baghdad or caves of Khost or Nimroz, but damn it looks cool burning fossil fuels at astronomical rates while waiting for a "peer" nation to develop a comparable technology or possibly using some of the ones we sold to them against us. Can I put you down for 183 of these? That'll be $36.6 billion, please. We'll throw in that undercoating for free; my manager has never allowed that before. Don't worry about making payments.
